Return Policy
Before contacting Shipdog about a defective item, please contact the manufacturer's tech support. We ask this because many of the items returned to us as defective either work fine or can return to normal operation with a little phone or email help from the manufacturer's well-equipped and experienced staff.
It's true that some companies are slower to respond than others, but the wait is much shorter and less expensive than shipping the item back to us for an exchange.1) Upon receiving your order, please open the package carefully. Save the box, accessories and manuals/papers.
2) If the shipping box looks damaged upon receipt, please notify the carrier for an inspection and pick-up of the damaged product.
3) Returns.
- A defective item reported within 14 days of reception can only be exchanged. After 14 days, please contact the manufacturer as the product is covered by their warranty.
- An opened or used item. Shipdog reserves the right to issue an RMA on a case-by-case basis depending on the condition of the item.
- An unopened item (100% new and undamaged) reported within 14 days of reception can be: A) Exchanged for another product of the same value, or greater value and charged the difference, or B) Refunded less the shipping cost* and up to a 15% restocking fee depending on condition of the item.
* On items with free ground shipping, this shipping cost will be a flat $12.
4) RMA: All returns must have a return authorization number (RMA). An RMA# can be obtained only by emailing customerservice@shipdog.com.

On a copy of your invoice, please write a brief note describing the reason for the return. Include the copy in the box.
- The cost to ship an item back- by mail, UPS, etc.- is the customer's responsibility, similar to driving back to a store to return something.

5) Shipdog sends the exchange within 1 Week of receiving the original item and at no extra cost.
